However, if you require additional cleaning services, please let us know and we shall inform you of the different services available (full or partial cleaning, change of towels, etc.) and their cost. Bookings exceeding one week include a free cleaning of the apartment (including change of sheets and towels) during the stay.

Booking process

How to book an apartment on Inside Barcelona?

The process is easy and secure.
1) Enter the arrival and departure dates and the number of guests in the section "Availability and Bookings" (top left hand side of the screen) and click on "Search".
2) From the list of results, choose the apartment which best fits your preferences.
3) Click on "Book" (if the apartment's availability displays as "Available"), and follow the instructions to complete the advance payment (usually the 30% of the total amount due). Once the advance payment is received, the booking is automatically deemed confirmed.
4) Click on "Request" (if the apartment's availability displays as "Under request") and complete the fields in the form. Shortly, you will receive an e-mail with our reply along with, where appropriate, the instructions on how to complete the booking.

When and how do I make the advance payment?

During the booking process, when you are asked to make the advance payment, you have three payment options: by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, American Express), by bank transfer or through PayPal. Credit card is undoubtedly the fastest and simplest payment method. If you choose to pay by bank transfer or through PayPal, bear in mind that the booking is not confirmed until Inside Barcelona has received the payment and confirmed its receipt via e-mail. Should you choose to pay via PayPal, there is an additional cost of 4% of the advance payment amount.

Is payment by credit card on the website secure?

Absolutely. All personal and payment details (including the credit card details) entered in the Inside Barcelona website are protected by a secure server (https://) with a SSL security protocol certified by VeriSign. You can verify you are on a secure server https:// because it is indicated on your browser's toolbar (it changes colour and/or a padlock symbol appears). However, if you prefer not to use your credit card, you can also pay by bank transfer or through PayPal.

When is the booking confirmed?

The booking is confirmed when Inside Barcelona has sent an e-mail to the guest i) confirming receipt of the advance payment and ii) assigning the guest a booking number.

What if I have to cancel my booking? Will my advance payment be reimbursed?

It depends on how much advance notice is given. If for any reason (including force majeure) you have to cancel your booking, either fully or partially, notice should be received no later than four weeks prior to the date of arrival for your advance payment to be returned in full. If less advance notice is given, the 30% advance payment will be withheld as credit against any other booking you wish to make within a year of the originally confirmed booking dates. If you do not make another booking within the year, the credit will be finally forfeited.

What if I want to change the dates or the apartment of an already confirmed booking?

It is subject to availability at the time. If the change is not possible, it will be dealt with as if it were a booking cancellation.

Are there additional taxes or hidden costs that must be added to the prices displayed in the booking process?
